Hello, and welcome to my blog.
One of my greatest passions is education, be it of medical students, ophthalmologists, allied health professionals or the public. Knowledge is power! Today we live in an age where there is easy access to a vast amount of information about our health. This can be a good thing, although it must be said that nothing can replace a doctor-patient consultation, especially when it comes to making a diagnosis, and providing an individualised care plan.
That said, I hope to use this platform to supplement the information that patients receive, by providing bite-sized pieces of information relating to eye care.
